Our
Movement

Recovery is empowerment. Recovery is hope. Recovery is an act of strength.

For people overcoming substance use disorder, recovery is a courageous act. It is the first step in a new chapter — one that will have its challenges, but will always, always be worth it.

Celebrating My Strength amplifies and celebrates stories, perspectives, and accomplishments of individuals in substance use recovery. Our narratives spotlight the strength that comes along with making a change and building a new life. By amplifying these voices, we aim to honor the personal power and courage behind every step forward, and encourage others to find inspiration in the process.

Whether it’s creativity, community, self-love, or simply making it through the day, our strength takes many forms. We are all different, and so are our journeys of recovery. Each story is a reminder: Seeking help isn’t a weakness. It’s one of the strongest things a person can do.

Recovery isn’t just surviving. It’s thriving. That’s something worth celebrating.
